Melco Resorts & Entertainment made it a trio of Macau concessionaires to announce discretionary bonuses for staff on Monday with the news it would pay a one month non-recurring discretionary bonus to all eligible non-management employees.
Melco joins MGM China and Wynn Macau Ltd as the latest to announce a bonus, joining SJM Holdings which announced its own “Living Subsidy” bonus earlier this month.
“We are pleased to announce a non-recurring discretionary bonus to recognize the hard work, loyalty and dedication of our eligible non-management colleagues ahead of the Chinese New Year,” said Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho.
“The year 2020 has certainly been challenging; affecting businesses and communities all around the world. We appreciate our colleagues’ every contribution during this difficult time as we continue to stand as one to weather the challenges in the new year with optimism and courage.”
