Aruze Gaming launches two new pachinko-inspired slot titles into Asia

Aruze Gaming has announced the launch of two new pachinko-inspired slot titles, “Pachincoin Money Lab” and “Pachincoin Jackpot Circus”, to the Asian market.

Available on Aruze’s Muso Curve-43 Hybrid cabinet, the Pachincoin series of games combine traditional pachinko gameplay with slot sensibilities. Described as a “slot without reels”, the games see an established mechanical concept of balls and pins remixed with incentives for continued play, such as second-screen bonusing.

Stepping forward from the traditional pachinko gameplay, Aruze has also integrated two progressive levels and two fixed bonus features. Break The Bank is a collection feature common to all games in the Pachincoin series. Coins are collected during regular gameplay into a bank. Coins are collected into banks by bet, encouraging players to try new bet levels and denomination options as they chase the best possible feature. Once the Break the Bank feature is triggered, all collected coins are released in a free-play style feature.

Both “Pachincoin Money Lab” and “Pachincoin Jackpot Circus” shoot virtual coins from the top center of the screen. The coins then bounce on pegs, just like the balls in a pachinko game. If they land in a catchpot, the prize is won. Upcoming coins are displayed in a row at the bottom of the screen, showing which upcoming coins have a 2x multiplier attached. As players completely control the rate of play, releasing coins on the screen as quickly as they press the play button, they can choose to speed through and chase those bigger potential wins.

Each theme in the Pachincoin family has a unique feature. In “Pachincoin Jackpot Circus”, a playfully themed game, if a coin lands in the feature trigger pocket in the center of the playing field, the Wheel Chance feature will be triggered. The Wheel Chance feature is a two-layer wheel bonus. The outer layer consists of credit awards and the Circus Wheel Bonus. If the pointer lands on the Circus Wheel Bonus, it launches the full-screen Circus Wheel Bonus, where larger credit prizes, jackpots or the Break the Bank feature can be awarded.

“Pachincoin Money Lab” is filled with gears and the mysterious instruments of a mad scientist. If a coin triggers the Gear Bonus, the huge mechanism at the top of the screen will animate as players root for the gears to align. Gears with arrows progress the player further along the gears, where prizes increase. The Gear Bonus can award credit prizes, minor or mini Jackpots, the Break the Bank feature or a Jackpot Challenge where larger credit prizes, the Major or Grand Jackpot can be awarded.
