Inside Asian Gaming has announced that all six of Macau’s concessionaires have confirmed their sponsorship of the Asian Gaming Power 50 Gala Dinner, to be held at The Parisian Macao on Friday 6 November.

The concessionaires include five now confirmed as Gold Sponsors of the event – Galaxy Entertainment Group, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, MGM China, Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM) and Wynn Macau.

They join Sands China which is Venue Sponsor of this year’s Asian Gaming Power 50 Gala Dinner.

The addition of the concessionaires brings the total number of confirmed sponsors for this year’s event to 12, alongside previously announced sponsors Solaire Resort & Casino as Welcome Cocktails Sponsor, Aristocrat, Scientific Games and Suncity Group as Platinum Sponsors, and Macau Beer as Beverage Sponsor. The Parisian Macao is the official venue.

Galaxy Entertainment Group is one of the world’s leading resort, hospitality and gaming companies. It primarily develops and operates a large portfolio of integrated resort, retail, dining, hotel and gaming facilities in Macau.

GEG operates three flagship destinations in Macau: Galaxy Macau, one of the world’s largest integrated destination resorts; Broadway Macau, a unique landmark entertainment and food street destination; and StarWorld Hotel, an award-winning premium property.

Melco Resorts & Entertainment is a developer, owner and operator of integrated resort facilities in Asia and Europe. In Macau, its businesses include the flagship integrated resort City of Dreams; the cinematically-themed entertainment resort Studio City; the Forbes Travel Guide 5-star Altira Macau; and Mocha Clubs, comprising Macau’s largest non-casino based operations of electronic gaming machines.

A Philippine subsidiary of the company operates and manages City of Dreams Manila, an integrated entertainment resort in the Philippines. The company is developing City of Dreams Mediterranean in the Republic of Cyprus.

MGM China is a leading developer, owner and operator of integrated resorts in the Greater China region. The company owns and operates MGM Macau, a Forbes Five-Star luxury integrated resort with approximately 600 guest rooms and suites and boasting a number of distinguishing features including the architecturally stunning European-inspired Grande Praça. It also operates MGM Cotai, named world’s best new skyscraper in 2018 by the Emporis Skyscraper Award and offering around 1,400 hotel rooms and suites, Asia’s first dynamic theater, and a variety of offerings.

Sands China is a leading developer, owner and operator of multi-use integrated resorts and casinos in Macau. It owns The Venetian Macao, Sands Macao, The Plaza Macao, Sands Cotai Central and The Parisian Macao, featuring a combined 13,000 hotel rooms and approximately 150 restaurants and food outlets.

Sands China is currently embarking on a US$2.2 billion transformation of Sands Cotai Central into The Londoner Macao – a celebration of timeless British design. The experience begins with the exterior facade, modelled on the iconic Palace of Westminster and Houses of Parliament, while Crystal Palace is a light-filled, palatial atrium, modelled on Claridge’s of London and the Palace Hotel.

Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM), a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-listed SJM Holdings Limited, is a leading operator, owner and developer of premier tourism, leisure entertainment and related businesses in Macau and is the only casino gaming concessionaire with its roots in Macau.

SJM’s Grand Lisboa, with indoor access to Hotel and Casino Lisboa, is the only hotel in Macau boasting seven Michelin stars, including two Michelin three-star restaurants The Eight and Robuchon au Dôme, as well as the one star-rated The Kitchen. SJM also operates Casino Oceanus at Jai Alai, connected directly to the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. The adjacent Jai Alai complex comprises Jai Alai Hotel. The Grand Lisboa Palace, SJM’s future integrated resort on Cotai, will feature three hotel towers – Grand Lisboa Palace hotel, Palazzo Versace Macau and THE KARL LAGERFELD, as well as facilities for meetings and conferences, shopping, dining and entertainment, and a casino.

Wynn Macau is traded on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts Ltd.

It operates Wynn Macau, located on the Macau peninsula, which opened on 6 September 2006. In 2008, Wynn Macau was the only hotel in Macau and one of only five hotels in Asia to receive the coveted Mobil Five-Star award. In April 2010, Encore at Wynn Macau was opened.

Opened on 22 August 2016, Wynn Palace is Wynn Resorts’ second luxurious integrated resort in Macau.

The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine dining meal, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers. The list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs and government officials.
