Melco Resorts & Entertainment has chartered a special flight from Macau to Manila in order to transport some of its Philippines workers back to their homeland.
Inside Asian Gaming understands that the flight, which made its short journey last Tuesday 12 May, was also utilized by some members of the Philippine Consulate in Macau, although Melco paid 100% of the cost of the flight.
TDM News had previously reported that the flight was primarily chartered for Melco workers with special conditions, including pregnant women approaching their due date, while some other Filipino nationals seeking to return home were also granted seats.
Melco Resorts operates three casinos in Macau: City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira, as well as City of Dreams Manila in the Philippines capital.
