Studio City International Holdings has announced that Kevin Benning, current Chief Operating Officer of Melco Resorts and Entertainment (Philippines) Corporation (MRP) – which runs City of Dreams Manila – has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations, of Macau’s Studio City.
The position will see Benning assume responsibility for the operations of Studio City upon the date of his appointment, set to take place once travel restrictions between Macau and the Philippines are lifted.
With Benning moving to Macau, current Studio City Property President Geoff Andres will return to the role he previously held as Property President of MRP.
In a NASDAQ filing, Studio City International Holdings said Andres will continue in his current role at Studio City until the appointment of Benning becomes effective as a result of COVID-19 restrictions being lifted “such that Mr Andres and Mr Benning are able to travel to the Philippines and Macau, respectively.”
