Wynn Macau Ltd has announced it will grant each of its 13,600 employees a MOP$1,000 e-coupon to support the Macau government’s stimulus measures for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The move comes after the government recently revealed that each resident will receive a total of MOP$8,000 worth of e-coupons via Macau Pass to use between May to December in order to stimulate the local economy and sustain employment.
In a statement sent to its employees, Wynn Macau said it decided to follow the government’s lead by introducing a similar card-based program, “WynnCare Macau Pass.” Each card will have an initial stored value of MOP$1,000.
“Use it to support all the small and vitally important restaurants, shops and other SMEs in our community that are facing great difficulty right now,” the statement said.
