Grand Coloane Hotel and two-star guest house San Tung Fong Commercial Inn South Wing are no longer being utilized as medical quarantine venues in Macau, with 1,308 people now undergoing quarantine in seven hotels as of late Thursday.

The two properties represent the fourth and fifth to be removed from the quarantine hotel list, with Metropole Hotel, Regency Art Hotel and Treasure Hotel also due to return to normal operations following sanitization.

Pousada Marina Infante Hotel, Golden Crown China Hotel, Grand Lapa, Grand Harbour Hotel, Royal Dragon Hotel, Jai Alai Hotel and Sheraton Grand Macao are still in use as quarantine venues.

The number of confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in Macau remained at 45 on Thursday, with 10 cases discharged and 35 still the hospital. However, health officials believe that some patients are likely to fully recover over the next few days.
