Aristocrat Leisure Ltd CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker has been nominated as new Chairman of the American Gaming Association (AGA).

The AGA revealed Croker’s appointment in an overnight announcement, with Aristocrat’s global head to take over from Penn National Gaming President and CEO Tim Wilmott, who finishes his two-year term in December.

“Trevor has been an active participant on the AGA board and executive committees, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have him take the reins as our next chairman,” said AGA President and CEO Bill Miller.

“He has held an array of roles across Aristocrat’s regulated and social games businesses and has the depth of expertise necessary to lead the board of directors during such a pivotal time for our industry. Trevor’s perspective as one of AGA’s supplier members will also prove invaluable.

“As gaming revenue hits new highs and sports betting continues to expand across the US, this promises to be an exciting new chapter for the AGA as we continue to ardently champion America’s gaming industry.”
