The President of Australian slot machine supplier Ainsworth Game Technology’s North American division has left the company to take up a position with the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
Ainsworth revealed on Friday that Joseph Bertolone resigned effective from 11 October 2019 after being appointed Executive Director of UNLV’s International Centre for Gaming Regulation.
In a statement, Ainsworth CEO Lawrence Levy said, “We thank Joseph for his valuable contribution to Ainsworth. AGT’s North American business has delivered strong results and has put in place strong foundations for future success. We wish him well for the future.”
Ainsworth said that the company’s existing North American team will manage the local business moving forward under the direction of Levy.
“I will continue to work and collaborate with them on our strategy to further grow our business in this key region,” Levy said.
