Now in its seventh year, MGS Entertainment Show 2019 will acknowledge the 20th anniversary of Macau’s handover to China while paying tribute to the city’s cultural characteristics.
The seventh MGS Entertainment show will be held at the Venetian Macao from 12 to 14 November 2019.
MGS is the first large-scale gaming and entertainment exhibition hosted by Macau, for Macau, and aims to provide local enterprises with a platform for communication and cooperation to promote local equipment suppliers. It also looks to expand cooperation with international gaming and entertainment industry organizations in order to create a “Macau Brand”.
With Macau celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the handover back to China in 2019, MGS Entertainment Show will include a special exhibition area in which participants can learn about the cultural characteristics of Macau and its special connection to the mainland while enjoying a new and entertaining experience.
It is the latest in a series of innovations launched at MGS over the years.
Originally known as the Macau Gaming Show when it was first held in 2013, MGS Entertainment Show has expanded its unique offerings each and every year including the addition of the the slot machine experience area, diversifying the theme of the annual MGS Summit and introducing a range of non-gaming exhibitors to better reflect the many contributors to Macau’s integrated resorts.
These include representatives of Macau’s cultural, food and beverage and daily use industries such as banking services, calligraphy and various exponents of technology. MGS also attracts companies from across the Greater Bay Area and in 2017 was awarded UFI certification by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. As a result, MGS became the seventh UFI-certified exhibition in Macau.
MGS has grown substantially over the years, with the exhibition floor up from around 9,000 square meters in 2013 to more than 15,000 square meters this time around, while visitation has increased by 20% from its original number of around 8,000.

MGS Entertainment Show is hosted by the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association alongside its two recently added partners – Nam Kwong Cultural and Creativity Industry Co., Ltd. and China National Machinery Industry International Cooperation Co., Ltd.
The exhibition has the support of the Macao SAR Government and the guidance of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR and the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
