Caesars Entertainment Japan has taken part in the annual Tomakomai Arts Festival – an event for members of the Tomakomai community offering the opportunity to learn about and interact with art via workshops, music and dance, among other experiences.
Caesars held a booth at the festival last week where members of community could experience different types of kaleidoscopes. Present at the booth was Mr Ikuya Mitsui, Director of Kaleidoscope Lab Sapporo, who has held exhibitions on kaleidoscopes across Japan and in the local Hokkaido area. This year also marks 200 years since kaleidoscopes were first introduced to Japan in the Edo period.
Aside from the traditional kaleidoscopes, visitors were also able to experience taking pictures of themselves through large kaleidoscopes and other rare types of kaleidoscopes.
In a statement, Caesars said it “highly values being a part of the local community where we do business, and Japan is no exception. As a business with a commitment to contributing to the wellbeing of communities, we are honored that the Tomakomai Arts Festival graciously hosted us at the event.”
