MGM Resorts Japan will once again co-sponsor Osaka’s 2019 Tenjin Festival, to be held from 24 to 25 July, including a fireworks presentation as the finale of festivities.
Approximately 1.3 million people attend the Tenjin Festival annually and it has become a popular event for foreign tourists in recent years.
Last year MGM Resorts invited the Blue Man Group, which has a special partnership with the brand, and held a performance on a special boat for greeting holy spirits, a characteristic of this particular festival that attracts a lot of attention.
“It is a great honor to be involved with the Tenjin Festival, a traditional event familiar to all in Osaka,” said MGM Resorts Japan’s President and Representative Officer. “I hope to continue working with the city and our friends from all over the region to make Osaka a global city of tourism.”
