Clark Freeport Zone, a special economic area located around 100km north of Manila, has welcomed its sixth casino with D’ Heights Casino holding a soft opening this week.

D’ Heights Casino, which is aiming for a Grand Opening in October, has launched with 50 gaming tables and 576 slot machines but will have 100 tables available once fully operational, according to a report in BusinessWorld.

The property, built at a cost of US$250 million, includes a high limit area and junket space.

One of a number of vast developments to have opened in Clark in recent years, the casino represents just a small part of the full 309-hectare D’ Heights Resort and Casino, which will see a five-star 310-room Hilton Hotel and Hyatt Regency open within the year. The resort will also include an indoor water theme park, man-made lake, villas, condominium towers, 36-hole golf course, restaurants, shops and a Singapore International School.

Already open in Clark are Fortunegate Casino, Midori Casino, Mimosa PAGCOR, Royce and Widus.
