MegaSportsWorld becomes first fully accredited Philippines sports betting operator under strict new regulations

Philippines sports betting operator MegaSportsWorld (MSW) has become the first company to be fully accredited as a provider of Sports Betting Systems with Bookmaker Service by gaming regulator PAGCOR.

The accreditation makes MSW the only company authorized to provide sports betting systems and services to all types of PAGCOR establishments including casinos, eCasino and eBingo outlets, sports bars, poker rooms, VIP clubs and slot machine arcades.

Much like its moves to regulate online gaming operators via the introduction of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) scheme in 2016, PAGCOR has also moved away from the previous permit-based system for sportsbooks to a new accreditation system with considerably stricter requirements.

“We are delighted to be the first operator to be approved under this strict new sports betting accreditation process,” said MSW Managing Director, Jeff Mann.

“This is a significant milestone for the company and the accreditation by the government’s gaming regulator attests to the quality service and high standards under which MSW operates. We are now in a strong position to continue our rapid expansion in the Philippines.”

MSW offers sports betting services in 107 outlets across the Philippines.
