Malaysia’s WA Hospitality has signed a management contract to manage Sihanoukville’s Won Majestic Casino Hotel & Resort Cambodia.
According to reports, the project, due to open in early 2021 and standing 28 stories high, will feature 270 luxury services apartments, a 150-room 5-star hotel and 2,500 square meter casino as well as retail outlets, F&B and office space.
“It is not your typical casino hotel as this one will be right next to the beach and it will be an upscale, five-star property,” explained WA Hospitality’s Executive Director, Ally Bhoonee.
“The hotel concept is to provide entertainment and excellent personalized service.”
According to hotel developer Won Majestic’s website, the property will focus on VIP gaming, with other facilities including a Sky Bar, infinity pool and high-end KTV.
“We are targeting upmarket FITs from China and South-east Asia,” Bhoonee said.
