A select crowd of around 100 invited guests gathered at Duffy’s Irish Pub at Broadway Macau on Friday night for the very first Macau After Dark (MAD) networking event.

Hosted by Inside Asian Gaming, MAD is a new quarterly social gathering which aims to bring together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. A new venue will be chosen for each event.

Among those to attend on Friday night were representatives of Macau’s “Big 6” concessionaires, leading Macau VIP operator Suncity Group, local law firms MdME and CA Lawyers, the University of Macau plus a range of industry developers, manufacturers and suppliers.

The evening included a variety of finger food and free flow wine and beer, with guests quick to praise the concept as a much-needed opportunity to bring Macau’s local gaming industry together.

There were also a series of lucky door prizes given away, with MGM China’s SVP, Digital and Technology Solutions, Scott Wessel claiming the top prize of a MOP$1,000 Duffy’s voucher!

A huge thankyou to all of IAG’s sponsors for the event – namely platinum sponsors Aristocrat and Scientific Games, Gold Sponsor IGT and Venue Sponsor Duffy’s.

MAD 2 is already scheduled to take place on Friday 10 May 2019 at a soon-to-be-announced location.
