Jade Dragon at City of Dreams has been named Macau’s third 3 Michelin star restaurant after being awarded an extra star for the first time in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2019.
The fine dining Chinese restaurant is one of 18 establishments in Macau to receive stars in the latest guide, joining The Eight and Robuchon au Dôme at SJM’s Grand Lisboa with 3 stars.
Macau also has five 2 star restaurants in the current guide, with recently opened Alain Ducasse at Morpheus a new addition to the list. Eleven restaurants have received 1 star.
“Hong Kong and Macau are very special cities within the gastronomic world,” said International Director of Michelin Guides, Gwendal Poullennec.
“They attract many tourists and business people from around the world, and as a result these cities have been blessed with gastronomic influences that oscillate between traditional Cantonese and Macau cuisine, combined with international flavors.”
