Landing International issues positive profit warning for 1H18

Landing International shareholders give green light to capital reorganization

Korean IR operator Landing International Development Limited has issued a positive profit warning, with net profit expected to rise by 500% for the six months to 30 June 2018.

The expected increase in profit is mainly attributable to increased revenue from Landing’s gaming business in Jeju following the relocation of Landing Casino from Hyatt Regency Jeju Hotel to Jeju Shinhwa World on 25 February 2018, the company said.

Landing previously announced revenue of HK$970 million in 1Q18 at Jeju Shinhwa World including HK$650 million from Landing Casino.

Jeju Shinhwa World, which currently incorporates Somerset Jeju Shinhwa World, Jeju Shinhwa World Marriot Resort and Jeju Shinhwa World Landing, boasts 1,400 hotel rooms and serviced apartments.
