Australian slot machine developer Ainsworth Game Technology has issued a guidance upgrade ahead of the release of its full year and half-year 2018 results.
Ainsworth has revised its expected profit before tax for the six months to 30 June 2018 from around AU$20 million to AU$22.8 million, while full year profit before tax is now expected at AU$39 million as opposed to earlier predictions of AU$36 million.
“This guidance was based on the completion of the order to Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) … included in the FY18 financial results for a total of 900 machines.
“CDI received approval from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC) to increase from 600 to 900 historical racing machines for the opening of its new Derby City Gaming facility.”
