Wynn Resorts has announced that Kim Sinatra will step down from her role as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary on 15 July 2018.
Sinatra’s departure is the latest in a string of high profile changes to the Wynn Resorts board since former Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn’s exit in February amid serious sexual misconduct allegations. It also follows her involvement in a campaign by the company’s largest shareholder, Elaine Wynn, to refresh the board ahead of the recent board elections with Ms Wynn claiming that Sinatra was aware of an alleged 2005 incident involving Steve Wynn and a manicurist in a Wynn Resorts salon. Sinatra has denied any such knowledge.
Her departure represents the seventh change to the Wynn Resorts board since February as the fallout from the Steve Wynn saga continues.
Sinatra is also a non-executive board member of Wynn Macau.
