SG Digital expands Technology and Development Center in Stockholm
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Scientific Games Corporation has announced that its SG Digital division will significantly expand its offices in Stockholm to meet growing business needs.

The office will bring employees from across the division into a central location focusing on technical operations and gaming and platform development initiatives. In 2018, SG Digital expects to recruit an additional 50 employees in the Swedish capital, the company said.

“Stockholm is a perfect addition to our expanded presence: it has a wealth of technology talent, massive growth opportunity and a great community on which we can build a strong team,” said Chief Human Resources Officer for SG Digital, Doreena Ross. “We expect increased presence in many other global locations as we drive our products to lead the industry.”

Chris Armes, Chief Technology Officer, SG Digital, added, “Our expanded presence in Stockholm will go a long way in supporting our growth initiatives in Europe. We have tremendous growth opportunity across our organization and this new center will fuel our success in the European market. Now is the perfect time to join the gaming and sports industry; the space is set for continued success and we look forward to years of strong performance from our teams there.”

Among the roles available will be Senior C++ Platform Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer and DevOps and TechOps Engineer.

The expansion in Stockholm comes on the heels of similar growth in London, Athens, Krakow and Montreal. SG Digital’s formation following the acquisition of NYX Gaming Group by Scientific Games created a global leader in the online gaming and sports market.
