With over 37 years’ experience in the land based and digital gaming industries, Shaun McCamley was recognized by Global Gaming Business Weekly as one of the top 25 industry people to watch in 2015. Now a partner at Global Market Advisors LLC – a leading consulting firm specializing in gaming, hotel and hospitality – he is holder of Key Management Gaming Licenses issued by the USA and Australia.
In 1999, as a pioneer and early operator in online gaming, McCamley formed BingoWorkz which developed and operated the internet’s first networked gaming solution using Flash technology. Subsequently, he formed Euro-Pacific-Asia Management Consulting, a Macau based firm that provided advice, casino management services and turnkey solutions to the land based and digital gaming industries.
Prior to joining Global Market Advisors, McCamley was President of Ho Tram Resort & Casino Vietnam. Reporting to the Chairman and Board of Directors, he was responsible for driving overall revenues and P&L objectives of this US$4 billion development.
He worked closely with the Board, evaluating opportunities to improve the financial performance of the property, and was responsible for the overall management of all facilities including, but not limited to the hotel, casino, food and beverage outlets, spa and the Bluffs, a Greg Norman designed golf course. The property employed 1,700 management and staff.
