Bethard.com signs Zlatan Ibrahimovic as brand ambassador

Bethard.com has revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic as its newest brand ambassador, with the Swedish football superstar tasked with helping the Bethard team enable their vision while engaging in the on-going development of the company’s offerings.

“We have taken a bold decision to start building a next generation sports betting brand and we are of course super excited to welcome Zlatan onboard,” said co-founder and CEO of Bethard Group, Erik Skarp. “What better companion could we possibly have on this journey?

“Through the agreement we will not only have an outstanding brand ambassador, but also a very engaged co-owner who I know will push us relentlessly forward.”

Bethard.com operates out of Malta and is currently licensed in Malta and the UK. As part of an aggressive growth plan, the company is actively seeking licenses in a number of European markets and expects to be present through its own licenses in most key European markets by 2020. The partnership with Zlatan starts immediately and will evolve over the coming years.

“I have obviously been intensively courted by betting companies throughout my career, but up until now I have not been presented wuth anything that has triggered me,” Ibrahimovic said. “With Bethard, there was something different. It’s a company with Swedish roots, the founders are from my home town and they are true challengers who really wants to do things differently.”
