MGM China says it has completed a series of induction activities for its more than 5,000 staff members ahead of the opening of its new Macau integrated resort, MGM Cotai, next Monday 29 January.

Spruiking the property’s focus on technology and innovation, the activities “not only provided team members with comprehensive property profiles to ensure readiness of the resort, but also inspired them to commit themselves to excellence in all they do, unifying together to make great moments for themselves, their team and the guests.”

Across four sessions, staff were treated to the debut of one of MGM Cotai’s three resident shows, The Experience, as well as a fashion show of their new uniforms. They were also given a detailed tour of the front-of-house areas to familiarize themselves with Spectacle, MGM Theater, the many food & beverage outlets, meeting and events facilities and the Spa.

They also participated in the creation of a “Greatness Garden” whereby team members helped hand-paint motifs found around the resort on a model of MGM Cotai.

Once fully operational, MGM Cotai will include 1,400 hotel rooms and suites including its luxury Mansion product, scheduled to begin operations mid-year.
