Macau junket operator David Group is re-launching junket operations at Galaxy Macau. The company confirmed to Inside Asian Gaming this week that it will officially open its new VIP gaming area on the second floor of Galaxy Macau’s west wing next Tuesday 26 September with an opening ceremony to be followed by a gala dinner at JW Marriott.
The junket area will boast a total of 10 tables “out of which six tables are located inside six private VIP rooms – one table in each VIP room – providing customers with privacy and an exquisite luxury experience,” a spokesman told IAG. It is scheduled to officially open for business at 14:30 on Tuesday.
The new junket room at Galaxy is the latest in a series of recent expansion activities by David Group and comes less than three years after it began winding back its Macau operations with the January 2015 closure of three of seven rooms it operated at the time.
In July this year, David Group was announced as the operator of VIP gaming at Macau Jockey Club Casino at the newly opened Roosevelt Hotel in Taipa. It also announced a new junket room at Studio City in Cotai.
