Online gaming provider Amaya Inc, owner of leading online poker sites PokerStars and Full Tilt, has completed its corporate name change to The Stars Group Inc.
The Stars Group’s common shares began trading under the ticker symbol “TSG” on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and “TSGI” on the Toronto Stock Exchange as of market open on Wednesday.
In connection with the name change, The Stars Group has also adopted a new corporate logo and launched a new website at www.starsgroup.com.
All securities trading, filings and market-related information will be reported under the new corporate name and trading symbols.
The company has also moved its head office from Montreal to Toronto as it continues to streamline operations and move on from the controversies that plagued it under former CEO David Baazov, who is facing insider trading charges.
The Stars Group’s brands include PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, BetStars, Full Tilt and StarsDraft as well as live events under the PokerStars Championship, PokerStars Festival and PokerStars Megastack banners.
