Macau’s June gross gaming revenue is on track for a year-on-year increase of between 23% to 28% – exceeding early estimates after a strong start to the month.
Brokerage Sanford C Bernstein puts GGR for the first 11 days of June at roughly MOP$7.75 billion or MOP$705 million per day, representing an 18% daily increase over a similar period last year.
An average daily rate of between MOP$620 million and MOP$660 million for the remainder of the month would see June GGR of MOP$19.5 billion to MOP$20.3 billion, representing a 23% to 28% increase.
Predictions at the start of the month had June GGR coming in at between MOP$19 billion and MOP$20 billion – a year-on-year increase of 20% to 26%.
Macau has enjoyed 10 consecutive months of GGR growth, with May revenue coming in a MOP$22.74 billion – up 23.7% from 12 months earlier.
