This year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia saw the debut of the popular exhibition’s first daily show newspaper, G2E Asia Daily.
Published by industry news leader Inside Asian Gaming at the request of G2E Asia organizer Reed Exhibitions, G2E Asia Daily proved a huge success on debut with 7,000 copies widely distributed throughout the show providing the latest news from the conference and exhibition floor, showcasing exhibitor products and providing all the must-know information on everything from G2E Asia’s array of press conferences and media launches to its many networking events.
IAG CEO Andrew W Scott said, “The first time you do anything there are always capability concerns, but our Managing Editor Ben Blaschke, Deputy Editor Raquel Dias and the rest of the team did a phenomenal job. G2E Asia Daily was a great success.
“You couldn’t miss G2E Asia Daily – it was everywhere at the show, placed in every single booth before the show opened each day, in stands in the hallway outside the show and all around the show floor, as well as being handed out all day by our elegantly dressed models.
“Lead sponsor Scientific Games anchored our 17 advertisers and we’re so grateful to those clients who took advertising in G2E Asia Daily sight unseen. Now that we have one year under our belt, and that we’re selling already for G2E Asia Daily 2018, we expect the daily newspaper to be back much bigger and better next year.”
G2E Asia Daily couldn’t have emerged at a better time, with G2E Asia celebrating its 11th year in style. This year’s show attracted a record 13,953 visitors from 84 countries and regions, with visitor attendance up 28% over 2016 numbers. Among the attendees were 1,652 serious buyers and decision makers with purchasing power. This significant representation of VIPs represented a 74% year-on-year increase.
