Complimentary seminar program announced for Australasian Gaming Expo.

The organizers of the Australasian Gaming Expo have announced a program of complimentary seminars that will be run over the course of the first two days of AGE 2017. Covering topics as diverse as the future of Casinos in Asia – where at least 15 new integrated resort casino developments are likely to open in the next five years – to a review of current and future trends for venues, the seminars will cover the key issues impacting the gaming industry now and in the near future. 

One of the most interesting seminars will be held at 09:00 on Wednesday 16 August, when financial commentator Michael Pascoe will chair a panel of Global CEOs from the gaming industry. Panellists include Danny Gladstone (CEO/Executive Director, Ainsworth Game Technology), Derik Mooberry (Group Chief Executive, Gaming, Scientific Games), John Connelly (Global CEO, Interblock Gaming), Steve Sutherland (President/CEO, Konami Gaming Inc.), Trevor Croker (CEO & Managing Director, Aristocrat Technologies) and Walter Bugno (Chief Executive Officer, IGT International).

This panel of the world’s leading gaming equipment supplier executives will provide important insights into the direction of the global gaming industry, and its influence on the future of the regional and domestic industry.

Tuesday 15 August 2017

Venues – Current and future trends; what these mean for the future of hospitality venues.

Research – Overview of domestic and international gambling research and its implications.

14:00 – 15:00
Casinos – 15 or more new Integrated Resort Developments are likely to open in the Asia-Pacific region in the next 5 years.

15:00 – 16:00
Technology – Key technology issues and trends; how they will impact on the industry.

16:00 – 17:00
Cash – ‘Nextgen banking’; cash recycling, operational efficiencies, cash management and trends around the world; current and future trends; how they will impact on the industry.

Global CEOs – Top executives’ views on global issues impacting the gaming industry.

10:00 – 11:00
Investors – Analysing stocks; Key elements of company financial performance; Key factors affecting economic conditions; The importance of government policy and stability; Key political concerns domestically and internationally.
