Melco Crown Entertainment Limited has held its first small and medium enterprises (SMEs) Workshop and Sharing Session on “ISO14001 Standards and Sourcing Process”, an event co-organized with Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM). The SME Workshops & Sharing series of sessions series aim to help local SMEs enhance their professional level and productivity, to fulfil the goal of facilitating a collaboration between larger companies and SMEs, as well as to allow them to further develop their companies and further improve their abilities.
Over 30 participants from 19 different SMEs participated in the workshop. The session focused on the ISO14001 trends certification and support services with a presentation given by Jenny Ho, Manager of Standards, Management, Training & Assessment from CPTTM.
Melina Quek, Director of Supply Chain from Melco Crown Entertainment briefed the group on Environmental Certification ISO14001 standard and the company’s sourcing process.
