In addition to supplying Asia’s casino currency of choice, GPI is developing a growing array of efficiency-enhancing RFID products

Gaming Partners International returns to G2E Asia ready to meet growing needs for currency products, RFID table game solutions, furniture, and table games accessories including playing cards and dice.

GPI has been in the Asian market since 1967, and is the market leader in supplying chips, plaques and jetons both in Macau and Singapore. The company sees a growing demand for RFID applications and solutions, and is continuing to expand its RFID product portfolio to help operators maximize the productivity at tables.

One new RFID table game solution is GPI’s RFID Tray Inventory Module (TIM) which can be used with any of the company’s RFID single- or dual-chip trays. TIM is an optional application that works with GPI’s Chip Inventory System to provide operators with real-time chip tray currency inventory monitoring directly at the table.

“With time-saving functions such as automated table openings and closings and ongoing inventory accounting that eliminate the need for periodic manual rack counts, TIM helps improve table game productivity and provides casino management with ongoing, accurate information about each chip tray’s balance and activity during dealer shifts while reducing human error and game down-time,” the company said.

Also new is the RFID Plaque Box that can be incorporated easily into a gaming table’s overall design. With its ability to store and track up to 60 RFID plaques, the plaque box can be installed either next to a regular chip tray or with GPI’s RFID dual chip tray for maximum table currency accounting. This innovative new product enables secure protection of a casino’s highest value currency items while delivering real-time counting and movement details.

With poker’s popularity maintaining its foothold around the world and gaining traction in Asia, GPI is displaying its RFID Poker solution. It combines an RFID chip tray, a touch-screen display and an RFID antenna that quickly reads and validates all chips being played. This fast pot-scanning reduces game down time caused by manual pot calculations, making it possible to generate additional rounds per hour. It also eliminates dealer errors by instantly calculating rakes and more, giving dealers more time to focus on the game and the players. Furthermore, the company’s RFID poker solution can enhance poker table management processes by providing the information necessary to identify the most profitable hours of play and maximize a poker room’s efficiency.

GPI’s B&G line of chips, plaques and jetons continues to be the currency of choice for the Asian gaming market. This time, the spotlight is on GPI’s new plaque design capabilities that take plaque customization to a new level. GPI also will be introducing several new standard JAV chip designs for its American-style B&G chips and will demonstrate further customization possibilities. B&G premium chips were introduced in 2011, and are fully customizable, allowing casinos to create unique designs with up to six color shots to incorporate logos or other original designs.

Table essentials- GPI supplies casino currency, RFID table game solutions, furniture, and table games accessories including playing cards and dice.

Beyond RFID and currency solutions. GPI will showcase table games products including its Paulson plastic cards which offer the same high quality as Paulson and Paulson PSV paper stock cards with the added benefit of being able to withstand long, repeated play. They offer the classic snap and feel of traditional paper stock cards and are tear, smudge, and scuff resistant.

GPI also will display its custom furniture manufacturing capabilities. Visitors can expect a full demonstration of the complete line of table game products, as each table will be stocked with the essential products required for a live game, including playing cards, dice, roulette wheels, table game accessories and more.
