Abbiati Casino Equipment - the chips and plaques with incorporated 13.56MHz PJM RFID technology

Abbiati is raising its profile in an Asian market hungry for high-quality alternatives

Abbiati Casino Equipment promises Italian quality and design at its best in the wide range of products it manufactures and supplies.

The range covers traditional equipment such as roulette wheels; customized tables and chairs; value chips, plaques and jetons; table layouts; and tokens and other gaming accessories. It also covers products boasting cutting-edge technology, such as roulette wheels equipped with patented laser monitoring and linked to an electronic results display and external terminals; and RFID systems utilizing 13,56 MHz PJM technology. Abbiati also offers technical back up of full CAD design and technical services.

Abbiati Casino Equipment’s recent success in securing a 200,000-chip order from Sands China in Macau is just one element in the company’s growing profile across Asia. The family-run business, based in Turin, Italy, last year also won orders for VIP tables in Singapore and table equipment in the Philippines.

Abbiati had a successful showing at last year’s G2E Asia, and will return this year at Stand 1243 as it further develops its presence in the region.

“G2E Asia is one of the most important exhibitions in the casino industry and the most important in the Asian region,” states Giorgio Abbiati, CEO of Abbiati Casino Equipment. “G2E Asia is definitely a perfect place to personally meet our clients, discuss new and existing business and look for potential new collaborations.”

According to Abbiati Commercial Director Terry Clarke: “Everyone will agree that the Asian market, and especially Macau, represents the biggest growth opportunity for the industry globally, and will continue to do so over the next few years. Abbiati has a lot of opportunities to grow in Asia, where the markets are looking for alternatives, especially in terms of security of products such as chips and plaques. If you can provide good alternative options to those already on the market, then you have good opportunities to do business here.”

Mr Clarke adds that “Asian operators are always looking for new alternative security features, to make sure they get the best anti-counterfeiting products, and Abbiati are well known for their continuous research of innovative materials and production processes.”

Furthermore, when quality is the key consideration, Abbiati has the edge, believes Mr Clarke. “There are lots of local suppliers for live gaming equipment in Asia, but when operators look for high-end tables for their VIP rooms, they know that we can provide them with the best quality.”

“During the show, visitors will be able to see a number of our tables, such as baccarat and American roulette, along with a selection of different electronic results displays, a range of our layout samples and a brand new line of chips and plaques with implemented new security features,” reveals Giorgio Abbiati. “Additionally, in response to ongoing customer requests from customers interested in our RFID solution, we will also be exhibiting it at the show along with a complete line of dedicated American chips and plaques with incorporated 13.56 MHz PJM RFID technology.”
