Linda Chen, President of Wynn International Marketing, has exercised stock options in Wynn Resorts Ltd worth US$2.83 million according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The options are to acquire 30,000 shares of common stock at US$47.12 per share and 20,000 at US$56.67 per share.
Ms Chen is said to be one of the best-remunerated female executives in the global casino industry. In 2010 Wynn Resorts bought a US$5.4 million house in Macau for her use according to a separate SEC filing in March this year.
In addition to her global marketing role, she has been Chief Operating Officer of Wynn Resorts (Macau) since September 2009. She is also a director of Wynn Resorts Ltd.
