Wang Guangya, the Director General of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, met with senior executives from SJM Holdings at the Grand Lisboa in Macau yesterday.
Mr Wang is on a three-day trip to the territory following a visit to Hong Kong. Mr Wang also had talks with the Macau SAR Government, legislature and judicial representatives in a private meeting. A Macau government spokesman said that after the conversation with local politicans the Director General stressed the “noticeable” achievements of Macau since the handover and praised Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On’s governance. Mr Wang leaves Macau on Thursday.
