PRESS RELEASE

TransAct Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT), a global leader in market-specific printers for transaction-based industries, will showcase their groundbreaking promotional slot couponing solution, the Epicentral™ Print System, at this year’s G2E Asia show at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel June 8 – 9, 2011. Located on Stand 1127, the TransAct team will provide attendees with personal demonstrations that highlight the unlimited possibilities of printing promotional coupons and player focused marketing messages directly to the slot player. TransAct’s interactive demonstrations will allow attendees to gain hands-on experience with the Epicentral Print System.

The Epicentral™ Print System is an easy to use software system that enables a casino to develop the highest quality promotional coupons and deliver them directly to their customers in real-time at the slot machine. Epicentral™ connects to any slot machine and utilizes the Epic 950® TITO printer regardless of the game’s manufacturer or the casino’s slot system. Casinos that do not currently have Epic 950s in their slot machines can easily upgrade their current ticket printers to TransAct’s Epic 950® and ServerPort™ enabling them to deliver high quality promotional coupons to players at the slot machine with Epicentral™.

In addition to Epicentral™, TransAct will feature their award winning and advanced casino and gaming printers and their acclaimed thermal receipt printers for hospitality and restaurant operations.

  • Epic 950® Thermal Slot Machine Printer: This award-winning, highly reliable and robust ticket-in, ticket out printer offers numerous advanced features including a 400 ticket standard capacity, expandable to 600 tickets and the industry’s best low-ticket sensor saving both time and money. Additionally, the Epic 950 offers a seamless upgrade path to Epicentral and promotional coupons;
  • ServerPort™: ServerPort™ easily upgrades existing Epic 950® printers with an array of capabilities including the ability to connect to Epicentral™ and print promotional offers or coupons at the slot machine;
  • Epic 880™ Thermal Gaming Receipt Printer: This feature-rich printer is the clear choice for game manufacturers who desire a fully configured thermal roll-fed printer which includes an auto retract feature and variable-length tickets. This printer solution is perfect for gaming applications such as Video Lottery Terminals and Kiosks;
  • Ithaca® 8000 Dual-purpose Thermal Printer : The Ithaca® 8000 dual purpose printer provides the capability to print receipts on standard thermal paper or liner-free labels combining label and receipt functions into a single printer. The ability to turn a receipt or order chit into a sticker makes this printer ideal for all types of food service applications. Adhesive-backed labels may serve as a receipt and/or label for special orders, take-out orders, and any number of restaurant needs;
  • Ithaca® 8040 Liner-free Sticky Thermal Printer : This highly robust printer is designed to print small format receipts that adhere to hot or cold beverage cups, providing increased order accuracy and customer satisfaction. In addition, the patented design protects against failure due to liquid spills with its vertically mounted PC board and internally mounted power supply;
