MEDIA RELEASE

LAS VEGAS – The American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions today announced that Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2010 generated increased interest and satisfaction from gaming industry executives, attracting 15,744 professionals to its exhibit hall and conference. G2E attendance increased by nearly 4 percent over attendance figures for G2E 2009, and exhibitors gave G2E 2010 the highest satisfaction ratings in five years. In addition, G2E’s all-new key buyer VIP program showed a record-breaking 17 percent increase in attendance for the most senior-level buyers and decision makers. Total attendance for G2E 2010, which includes everyone who attended the event, also saw growth, increasing
to 24,941.

G2E is the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry and provides gaming professionals with access to cutting-edge products and technology, valuable networking opportunities and unmatched educational programming. The 2010 event was held Nov. 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“I can say without reservation that this was our best showing ever,” said Gavin Isaacs, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Bally Technologies, a major exhibitor at G2E 2010.

“As evidenced by ever-increasing interest in our event, G2E continues to lead the way as the largest and most successful trade show and conference for gaming professionals,” said Courtney Muller, senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions. “The numbers, especially the success of the key buyer VIP program, show we are achieving our primary goal – to provide gaming professionals with the valuable tools, knowledge, and business opportunities they need to be successful in the global gaming industry. We are excited to continue to provide this one-of-a-kind experience at our 2011 event as well.”

G2E 2011 will take place Oct. 4-6, reflecting a newly adjusted schedule that moves the annual trade show and conference ahead by more than one month. G2E also will move from the Las Vegas Convention Center to the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

According to show organizers, the revised schedule allows exhibitors more breathing room between major international gaming events. It also will help purchasing decision-makers at gaming companies plan for the year ahead with greater ease, ultimately, increasing sales and enhancing exhibitors’ bottom lines.

To date, more than 248 companies have registered for over 218,000 square feet (20,000 square meters) of exhibit hall space at G2E 2011. This includes over 40 international exhibitors with more than 37,000 square feet (3,440 square meters). These numbers are tracking well ahead of the 2010 event at this time last year.
