SINGAPORE: A Taiwanese croupier from the Resorts World Sentosa casino, accused of converting more than S$100,000 (US$76,000) worth of cash chips for her own use between September 28 and November 7, now faces two other charges for offences involving chips.

Thirty-year-old Chiu Yee-Fong allegedly had in her possession more than S$11,000 worth of casino chips in a flat at Block 33, Toa Payoh Lorong 6 at around 9am on October 21.

She is also believed to have dishonestly converted another S$900 worth of casino chips for her own use on November 6.

Chiu, who’s the daughter of Taiwanese celebrity, Long Tian Xiang, will be back in court on December 27.

If convicted of converting the chips for her own use, she can be jailed up to 15 years and fined for each charge.

And if found guilty of having the chips in her possession outside the casino, she can be jailed up to five years, fined a maximum of S$150,000 or both.
