Mahjong Logic, Ltd., a peer-to-peer online mahjong software provider, has signed a licensing deal with a payment processing and back office support service covering the China market.

The agreement, giving Mahjong Logic access to the services of GamMatrix, has been made with the latter’s parent company EveryMatrix. EveryMatrix launched in 2009 and also offers support with management of online advertising banners and ready to use software packages for online gaming. It has become one of the leading business-to-business service providers for the Internet gaming industry. EveryMatrix has operations based in the UK, Malta, Denmark and Romania as well as China.

“Our new deal with EveryMatrix reaffirms not only the potential of mahjong but the fact that the game is a true force worldwide,” said Jonas Alm, Mahjong Logic’s CEO.
“This deal gives us instant access to over twenty-five worldwide gaming operators already being served by EveryMatrix.”

Mahjong Logic says market research suggests 700 million people around the world play mahjong. The company thinks it is a matter of time before the growth of online mahjong rivals the growth of online poker.

“Mahjong Logic is the leader for online mahjong and will enable us to continue offering the very best in service offerings along with growth opportunities in regions such as Asia,” said Stian Hornsletten, CEO of EveryMatrix.
