Memorabilia linked to Diana, Princess of Wales, actress Marilyn Monroe and pop stars Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Madonna, is to be displayed at Macau’s Ponte 16 gaming resort prior to being auctioned there on 9th October.
The 200 items also include items connected to the Hollywood films ‘Batman Forever’ and ‘Game of Death’. They will be on public show from 22nd September to 8th October before the ‘Legends’ sale organised by celebrity memorabilia specialist Julien’s Auctions, based in Hollywood.
Ponte 16 has carved a niche for itself as the home of celebrity-related material since the opening of the MJ Gallery in January this year. It features Michael Jackson mementos including a rhinestone-covered glove worn by the singer the first time he performed his signature ‘moonwalk’ dance to the song ‘Billie Jean’ in 1983.
