Salon’s existing temporary casino facility contains 10 tables dedicated to online gaming and 16 tables dedicated to telephone betting. The games on offer include baccarat, speed baccarat, sic bo, dragon tiger, se de and fan tan. Other games are undergoing testing for installation. While the casino is licensed for “walk in” casino players as well as online gaming, almost all the revenue is derived from online gaming. The facility currently leases out space to 13 different agents, with fees based on turnover. The number of agents continues to grow as Salon recruits more agents with extensive client networks in neighbouring regions.
The company owns and manages all of the technical infrastructure associated with the online operation, including dedicated computer servers and an exclusive fiber optic submarine cable linking Hong Kong with Manila.
Salon employs an extensive team of IT professionals, who are on call 24 hours a day in order to ensure players receive uninterrupted service.
The company has developed all of its own computer software, including all accounting, customer interface, marketing, and funds transfer software. It believes the in-house creation and maintenance of the software ensures a high degree of security and network stability. Salon maintains an extensive database of active players and has created a regional marketing program involving a broad network of agents.
