International Game Technology has appointed an executive with wide experience of the portable communications industry as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Susan Macke previously worked for Hewlett-Packard as its VP of global marketing for hand held communications products.
Prior to her time at Hewlett-Packard, Ms Macke served as Nokia Finland’s vice president of Nokia strategic marketing. While with Nokia, she also served as vice president of portfolio management and product marketing (Finland), and vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa sales and marketing (UK).
Her executive experience also includes work at Sendo Ltd in the UK and Motorola Inc., and she held multiple management roles at IBM working on software development, OEM, marketing and other initiatives.
