Hong Kong (July 14 2009) – Beacon Events is pleased to announce its line-up of gaming events in the second half of 2009 and first half of 2010.  Even though the partnership with Clarion Gaming has ended following their restructuring and the departure of their most senior staff, Beacon remains committed to the Asian gaming market and plans an exciting portfolio of events.  These include the Asian Gaming Regulation and Investment Summit, iGaming Asia Congress and Asian Sports Betting Summit.

Asian Gaming Regulation and Investment Summit [www.asiangamingregulation.com], 6-8 October 2009, Taipei, Taiwan. Located in the next hot-bed of casino activity, Taiwan, the Asian Gaming and Investment Summit gives an unparalleled insight into this and other up-and-coming markets in Asia. Covering the latest regulations for gaming operators and technology suppliers in the key jurisdictions, as well as investment tips and opportunities, the conference is being supported by the Tourism Bureau of Penghu County and incorporates a site visit to Penghu County for an exclusive first look at one of the casino development sites.

iGaming Asia Congress [www.igamingasiacongress.com] , 23-25 February 2010, Macau. The definitive congress and expo for the i-gaming community in Asia, next year’s event sees a brand new venue in response to feedback from delegates and exhibitors. The iGaming Asia Congress will be the first gaming event to be held at the sparkling new jewel in Macau’s crown – the Grand Hyatt at City of Dreams. Supported by an Advisory Board of i-gaming royalty and with more Asian case studies than ever, better networking and entertainment and exciting new, interactive programme features, this is an unmissable feature in the i-gaming calendar and will continue to grow in stature and importance, year on year.

Asian Sports Betting Summit [www.asiansportsbettingsummit.com], 18-20 May 2010, Macau. Capitalising on our experience running previous events, the inaugural Asian Sports Betting Summit will bring the betting community together for more stimulating discussions on innovative product offerings, specific operational issues for Asia, marketing and customer retention strategies and the future of in-play betting. Covering both land-based and online, East and West, this is a must-attend event for those who are serious about advancing their own interests and those of the betting industry.

In addition, plans are in the works for country specific programmes in Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Korea and Singapore, providing a comprehensive overview of these exciting markets with site visits to some of the newest venues.

Based in Hong Kong, Beacon Events is perfectly placed to deliver Asian-focused events that the market needs. With a senior gaming team comprising over 40 years experience in the conference industry, the events promise to continue delivering key networking, learning and sales opportunities for all involved.

Gaming Conference Director, Rosalind Wade stated, “Over the last two and a half years, we have been working with the leaders in both land-based and online gaming in the Asia Pacific region and have built up an enviable network of contacts. We recognise that this is a distinct and unique marketplace, with each country having a different identity and different ways of doing business. Our aim, therefore, is to provide the global gaming industry with insights into these specific markets from those who are on the ground doing business here. We continue to search for ways to add value to participants at our events and to ensure the best possible experience in terms of learning, networking and entertainment.”
