Michael Mecca has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group.
GEG said Mr Mecca will have overall responsibility for the performance and growth of StarWorld Hotel and Casino, Galaxy Macau resort on Cotai and Galaxy CityClubs at the Waldo Casino, Rio Casino, President Casino and Grand Waldo Casino.
Most recently he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. He has also held senior executive roles with Station Casinos Inc., Las Vegas, Mandalay Resorts Group, Las Vegas and Caesars World Inc., Las Vegas.
