Man United opens interactive Macau store

The Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian Las Vegas

Former Manchester United players Bryan Robson and Brian McClair were guests at the launch of the English Premier League champions’ new interactive exhibition and store at The Venetian Macao.

The Manchester United Experience promotes the club through interactive games and exhibitions. There is also a megastore offering club merchandise.

“The Manchester United Experience has exceeded all expectations. It is an exciting prospect for our fans in Asia, and I am sure it will prove to be an extremely popular attraction at The Venetian,” said David Gill, the club’s Chief Executive.

United were last season’s winners of the UEFA Champions’ League knock out competition for Europe’s elite teams. The same squad played in a Las Vegas Sands Corp.–sponsored challenge match in Macau and stayed at The Venetian Macao during their Asian tour in 2007.
