Aristocrat has launched its new US$45 million Las Vegas campus, which is set to house the majority of the company’s 1,100 locally based employees.
Located in the master-planned precinct of Summerlin in the city’s west, the new campus covers 180,000 square meters of floor space across two buildings with an open floor plan and a state-of-the-art showroom featuring around 100 Aristocrat slot games.
The buildings were constructed using environmentally friendly materials, with amenities including sit-stand desks, ergonomically designed chairs, a gym, meditation room, café, on-site barista, pantries on each floor, a game room, bike path and large outdoor patio and park, the company said.
“Creating an inspiring environment for employees is critical to our success and to our culture, today and in the future,” said Managing Director of the Americas, Matt Wilson, at a launch ceremony late last week.
“We are thrilled with our new campus where most of our Las Vegas-based employees will now be at home. Aristocrat has really moved to a people-first, customer-centric approach and we have many talented people working with us.
“The new building will further enhance our ability to work together by providing a functional environment that sparks collaboration and innovation.”
Ground was only broken on the new campus in June 2017, with Aristocrat revealing shortly after that it had signed an initial 15-year lease at the facility.
The company recently announced record numbers in the North American and Australia-New Zealand markets for FY18, driving the Australian slot machine manufacturer to a 47.7% increase in operating revenue and 34.3% rise in normalized profit after tax.
