Blockchain gaming innovator Alphaslot has unveiled its new tokenized social gaming platform which it it hopes will integrate eSports and mobile gaming with land-based casino floors.
“Blockchain is changing the entertainment industry as we speak,” said Alphaslot CEO Raymond Chan during a presentation at Sora Summit 2018, held at Macau Tower on Tuesday afternoon.
Alphaslot is a distributed blockchain-based computing platform and ecosystem that supports industrial-scale gaming applications by connecting multiple blockchains using tokenization as a means of linking gaming verticals.
Introducing the company’s potentially revolutionary technology, which provides a tokenized platform to an ecosystem that brings together land-based casinos, online gaming, mobile gaming operators and more, Chan – who is also the CEO of slot machine innovator TGG – said, “We are going to utilize blockchain technologies integrating eSports and social gaming elements into the casino gaming floors together.
“We are all from the first company in Asia bringing skill games to the world.”
Chan stated that money spent on casino floors by visitors is globally decaying. But according to the Alphaslot head, the company’s ecosystem of users “will lead to an explosion in transaction values, substantially increasing the size of the gaming market.”
He added that Alphaslot’s platform makes it possible “to reach new customers, not just the casino customers – we are able to reach casual gamers, we are able to reach hard-core gamers, we are able to reach digital assets collectors as well as tourists.”
Alphaslot’s Sora Summit 2018 presentation included a live test of the system run by Joseph Chan, CIO of the company.
Sora Summit 2018 is running in Macau from 13 and 14 November with the goal of fostering knowledge and “collaboration between leaders and communities in the blockchain industry with an emphasis on Asia’s blockchain ecosystem.”
