Slovenian gaming equipment manufacturer Spintec is looking to expand its footprint across Asia’s emerging markets in 2019 following the launch of its new Karma Multigame product earlier this year, according to Regional Sales Manager Primož Krševan.
Speaking to Inside Asian Gaming from the floor of G2E at Sands Expo in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Krševan cited the impending launch of new integrated resorts in Vietnam and the Philippines, as well as Cambodia’s rapidly expanding casino industry, as a unique opportunity for Spintec to grow.
“We are expanding slowly and entering into Vietnam and the Philippines,” he said. “In Cambodia we did very well this year so we hope to keep the pace there and we are looking to push our live multi-game. Our roulette is now everywhere in Asia so the next step is our live multi-game.
“Vietnam is our main focus right now but there are quite a few promising opportunities across the region.”
Krševan explained that Karma Multigame, which offers baccarat, roulette and sic bo, had been designed with the Chinese customer in mind.
“The layout and the imagery is all Asian themes,” he said. “We spent a lot of time on the display to make sure it was appealing, even down to the color of the dresses the dealers are wearing.
“It’s still early but the feedback we’ve had so far has been very promising.”
