Japan’s Universal Entertainment Corp has released a new social casino app combining slot machine gameplay with some of the company’s own pachislot machines.
The app, titled Slots Street, is now available in the US, Canada and Australia for both iOS and Android platforms.
According to Universal, users can choose between two separate video slot modes – “Casino” and “Adventure” – and can also share data with other users by linking the app with its Facebook version.
Slots Street is a game that fuses the gameplay of a video slot machine together with the worlds presented in actual Universal Entertainment pachislot machines and progressive mapping,” the company said.
Social casino games have proved hugely popular in recent years with the likes of Australian slot machine giant Aristocrat, through its Product Madness brand, and Scientific Games through its SG Interactive division both enjoying strong penetration.
