Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced a salary increase to eligible team members of between 2.5% to 8% of their monthly salary and the implementation of a five-day paid paternity leave policy.
The wage update will be awarded to all staff of senior manager grade and below who joined GEG on or before 1 April 2018.
Those team members with a monthly salary of MOP$24,000 or below will see an increase of MOP$600 while those team members with a monthly salary above MOP$24,000 will see a salary increase of 2.5%, according to an announcement.
GEG also said that eligible team members who joined the company between 2 January and 1 April 2018 will enjoy a salary increase after completion of probation and 90 days of service.
Over 70% of team members will enjoy a salary increase higher than 2.5%, GEG said.
Regarding its new paternity leave policy, Galaxy said that male team members who have been in service with GEG for one year or above will be eligible to five days of paid paternity leave, to be taken within 30 days of the birth of their child/children. All eligible staff members will be entitled to paid maternity leave effective 1 April 2018.
