Korea’s leading foreigner-only operator Paradise Group has seen casino revenues rise 3.9% year-on-year and 8.1% sequentially in November to KRW54.78 billion (US$50.4 million) as its integrated resort, Paradise City, continues to slowly ramp up.
The figures, which incorporate revenues from Paradise City, Paradise Walker-hill, Jeju Grand and Busan Casino, include an 8.7% increase in tables games revenue to KRW51.31 billion.
However, casino revenues for the first 11 months of 2017 are down 9.1% on the same period last year to KRW508.3 billion (US$467.2 million).
Notably, despite a sequential increase in revenue, table drop fell 11.6% year-on-year in November to KRW432.21 billion, but was up 13.9% sequentially. Table drop for the first 11 months of the year is up 5.2% to KRW4.65 trillion.
